When we started Wild At Heart Journeys, we wanted to share the beautiful land of Africa with travelers, and we also wanted to help out the beautiful people who live in incredible poverty and without so much throughout Africa. A portion of our profits goes to supporting local projects.

One of the local projects we support is Huruma Hospital in Tanzania. Throughout the years we have helped them receive much needed medical supplies from Direct Relief International by paying shipping, clearing and transportation costs. This past May, we helped to support another shipment of much needed supplies.

"The donation of medical supplies reached at the hospital at time needed more than ever. There are 103 expectant mothers at Huruma hospital now and many other poor patients admitted in the hospital. It has been a great challenge to care them all at the hospital. The support we receive from the government to care the expectant mothers and the poor patient is almost nothing. Therefore, you can learn how your donation was useful to our patients. " Fr. Aloyce Urio
