For us, a safari by horseback is the ultimate way to travel. Its not just about the freedom and thrill of galloping over a vast and wild landscape. But more about the intimate way one gets to explore a destination. It's the extremely close encounters with the wildlife and landscapes. It's the interactions with people, your horse and your own introspection that so naturally occurs along the way that make these incredible journeys.

Riding experiences in Africa can range from short rides to full day rides returning to camp or lodge, to multi-day trips riding from mobile camp to mobile camp in the bush. Those not wishing to ride can join their riding friends as well, as some options offer activites for the non-riders. You can join set departures or create your own itinerary and your own departure dates. There are a number of itineraries available for experienced riders as well as for less experienced riders.
